Born: 22/04/14

Initial assessment: The Mothership, the sustenance and warmth, all present and correct.  The Mothership badly damaged, babbling incoherently, could do with repairs and maintenance.

Safety belt severed.  All contact with the mothership lost. Wrapped in curiously soft garments, docked with the Fathership.  Note: beard excellent for gripping and nuzzling. Mothership in for repairs.

Surroundings seem bright, cold and big.  Must not look.

Fathership’s face curiously soft and furry.

Decision to remain: positive.

Transmission terminated. Over and out.
